To Race Full Irish and British Downhill Series and selected UCI World cup rounds. // Any long term goals? Or just go with the flow? Everyone wants to be World Champ, Ill just train hard and “go with the flow” and hope some day I get that far. // Where’s the best place mountain biking has taken you? Norway, it is an awsome country. The people are so friendly and the tracks are unreal. // What’s the worst experience you have had from mountain biking? The injuries dude they suck, but it comes with the sport.

Specialized Big Hit 2009
What’s your best achievement to date?
4th at Bringewood, Pearce Cycles Series – not the greatest finish, but it was my first regional race, so I was really happy to be finishing in the top 5.
Any other hobbies or interests?
Skiing, Windsurfing, Moto
What are your plans for 2011?
For 2011 I want to make my step up into youth as easy as possible, carry on training hard and get everything ready for my second year in youth.
Any long term goals? Or just go with the flow?
Eventually I want to be racing World Cups, but I still have a while before i get there. So I guess at the moment I’m going with the flow until I’m old enough to start racing European and World Cups.
Where’s the best place mountain biking has taken you?
I think the best place mountain biking has taken me is probably Bala, the riding was so loose and so fast, can’t wait to take a trip up there again.
What’s the worst experience you have had from mountain biking?
A while back at Welsh Champs I had a pretty big off at LLangollen. Luckily, I healed up all right, but I’m still pretty nervous about going back there next year!

What bike are you running? Carbon V10(hopefully)
What’s your best achievement to date? 2nd in an IXS European Cup this year.
Any other hobbies or interests? Skiing and Surfing.
Anything we probably should know about you? I’m studying Engineering at Cardiff university so my life consists of too much working, a bit too much drinking, not enough sleeping, far too much eating and a whole load of riding.
What are your plans for 2011? To do loads of riding and get to a level where I can consistently qualify well at world cups. I also want to win the BDS overall in expert. Staying injury free would also be good although that would probably be asking too much!
Any long term goals? Or just go with the flow. My 2011 plans are about as long term as it gets really. If I aim to get a degree and keep having fun on my bike I don’t think I’ll go too wrong!
Where’s the best place mountain biking has taken you? Not Scotland! Probably New Zealand, Queenstown is pretty sweet.
What’s the worst experience you have had from mountain biking? Doing in my PCL in the 08 Schladming World cup wasn’t great, nor was dislocating my shoulder a few months ago.
